Imkerei Göbel
Wir waren heute auf unserem vorletzen Markt von 2014. Am 3. Adventwochende sind wir auf der historischen Zeitreise in Bad Berleburg.
Die Bienen sitzen ruhig in ihren Kästen und bereiten sich auf das Jahr 2015 vor. Kurz vor Weihnachten werden sie noch einmal geöffnet und mit Oxalsäure gegen die Varroa behandelt.
In die Imkerei sind dieses Jahr Rähmchen im Bausatz geliefert worden. Das hat in diesem Falle nichts mit sparsamen Imkern, sondern mit der Lagermöglichkeit, zu tun. Fertig gedrahtete Rähmchen nehmen eine ganze Menge Platz weg. Als Bausatz liegen sie aber kompakt im Regal und warten auf ihren Einsatz. Als Imker weiß man halt nie wie viel Material man benötigt. Wenn man es dann im Mai oder Juni weiß, dann ist meist bei den Herstellern nichts mehr zu bekommen.
Im laufe der nächsten Tage werde ich auch unseren Fichtenhonig in den Onlineshop nehmen. davon haben wir aber leider nur 40 kg geerntet. Meine Frau sagt zu diesem Honig: "Der schmeckt ja nach Tannenbaum."
